ok

yes, im doing much better, thank you. although i still find myself in this deep place of wonderment. (is that a word?)

do you ever find yourself longing for things you just dont know if you'll ever have? that is something i have been pondering lately. not just answers to questions, (although i do have lots of questions i long to have answered) but physical, tangible things. not even crazy ridiculously expensive things, just things that would improve life a little. i want to be content with what i have, because i know it is more than i deserve and more than most of the world if you were to break it down that way. but i still have trouble just accepting the good of what i have now.

ah i'm sorry. i will play such blessing on you. i think a lot of people relate to feeling what you are feeling. yes- in perspective we got lots compared to africa and what not.... but it is still normal to find ourselves wanting things... esp. things that make life easier. i guess it is just giving those desires to god that makes the difference and asking for contentment (like you are doing). I can say that no matter where you are at in life... you can always come up with things you wish you had.

Yes, I have been there many times as, I think, many people have. I distinctly remember one time one of our friends told us he was moving to Tennessee to get a job that made him around $1500 a month. I remember thinking,"Boy, wouldn't that be amazing. What I could do with that! Well, I double that now, and I still am doing and wanting the same old things. It is all relevant. You are right, we all are really blessed when we compare ourselves with everyone throughout the world. God bless.
